Reviews and Ratings
I felt like I stepped into a musical wonderland at this hotel. The rooms were quite comfortable with lovely musical composer themes and beautiful antique furniture, but may not be ideal for taller guests. Unfortunately, there was nowhere to sit in the room, which was a downside. The service was friendly and helpful, although staff were unavailable from 10 pm to 8 am. The location was a relaxing escape with jazz music and close proximity to the university, making it perfect for exploring Eugene. The dining experience was incredible, offering a continental breakfast and local pastries. Overall, a charming stay with some minor drawbacks.
The hotel is ideally located in Eugene, close to the university and key attractions, making it perfect for exploring the area. While the rooms are small and have slanted ceilings that require some navigation, they are beautifully decorated and have comfortable furnishings. The service was exceptional, with helpful staff always going above and beyond to assist. The dining options, including homemade granola and pastries, exceeded expectations, but there were some issues with a dated muffin and orange. The hotel facilities are well-maintained and offer a pleasant stay overall.
Staying at the Excelsior Inn was a delightful experience. The rooms were spacious and beautifully furnished, offering a comfortable bed, quality furniture, and nice decorations. The service was top-notch with helpful and friendly staff. The location was ideal, especially for those looking to explore Eugene, and the dining experience was outstanding. However, the rooms are on the smaller side, albeit well-appointed.
